Our history
Commerce media is not new. Neither are we.
Capture was founded 18 years ago by two dunnhumby pioneers who saw a different way forward for shopper marketing.
At the time, the industry was fragmented, opaque and difficult to measure. Brands lacked visibility into what was really driving sales, and media investment was often disconnected from performance.
The belief behind Capture was simple: the closer media gets to the moment of purchase, the more powerful it becomes. So we set out to bring greater clarity, accountability and effectiveness to shopper marketing, helping brands connect media investment to real commercial outcomes.
